In 1996, Debra allied her extensive recruiting background with her personal business philosophies to establish Bonell Ryan, Inc., a retained Executive Search and Consulting firm that specializes in the placement of senior-level executives. Bonell Ryan, Inc. provides attentive, first class service to a preferred client base in the fields of Financial Services (retail and online), Payment Systems, Retail and e-Commerce.

Debra's high energy, integrity and candid style have led her to the smart and savvy companies who need high-level professionals for their senior management positions focusing on General Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Risk Management. Her keen ability to understand her client's specific business needs and how they complement the career goals of her candidates has been a critical influence on her success.

Prior to Bonell Ryan, Inc., Debra spent five years as a partner with Muller Ryan International, Inc., a global executive search firm, and five years in several senior management positions across the globe with Drake International, a world-wide recruitment firm. She began carving out her career working with distinctive law firms in South Africa and Australia, which seeded her perspective on the importance of properly aligned human resources.

Debra is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization, International Crisis Group and United States Squash Rackets Association. Her varied interests include international travel, cultural and international affairs, opera, theater, squash, golf and skiing. She was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia.
